Patients who are cared for by Telehealth measure the data that are important for the respective ailment on a daily basis, e.g. such as blood pressure and weight. To do this, they use measuring instruments, which transmit the measured data to the base station. This base station is effectively the heart of Bosch Telehealth Plus.
Via a telephone line, the base station transmits the measured values to the telemedical data server. Here they are collected and sorted in a database – naturally with absolute respect for data security. This telemedical platform can be described as the brain of the telemedical system.
To complement this, via the base station, patients are asked questions about their health and supporting information is transmitted. Using this small device, patients can learn a lot about their own bodies and health as well as how to help themselves.
