What is telehealth’s track record?

The benefits of the Bosch Telehealth Plus solution have already been proven in numerous international studies and continue to prove themselves every day in practical application with thousands of patients who use the system.

Patients suffering from heart failure have been shown to need fewer protracted stays in hospital.

The quality of life for patients with chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD) was also significantly improved through participation in the telehealth program.

The success of Bosch Telehealth Plus was also clearly evident in older patients with diabetes. After 4 years of regular utilization of the telehealth programs, there were fewer deaths than in a control group who were treated normally by their doctors.

A high level of satisfaction with the Bosch Telehealth solution among both patients and care providers could also be proven.

Bosch is also striving to demonstrate the healthcare benefits of telehealth in Germany for those with chronic conditions. To this end, we cooperate closely in telehealth development and research projects with innovative healthcare providers such as the Charité Clinic in Berlin and the Robert Bosch Hospital.

In the “Partnership for the Heart” project, which is supported through public funding, Bosch lead manages the technical system and coordinates cooperation with other industrial partners.
